Residents in Burntwood are invited to a free advice and support drop-in session at Burntwood Library on Wednesday 22 July. The event runs from 10am until 12pm and requires no appointment.
Representatives from more than a dozen organisations will be on hand to offer confidential advice on a range of topics. These include Council Tax, benefits, housing, debt, energy costs, employment, wellbeing and local support services.
Who Will Be There
Organisations attending include Lichfield District Council, Jobcentre Plus, Citizens Advice South-East Staffordshire (CASES), Beat the Cold, Support Staffordshire, Social Prescribers, Bromford Housing Association, Burntwood Be a Friend, Staffordshire Network for Mental Health, Family Hub and Staffordshire Careers.
What to Expect
The drop-in is designed to help residents access trusted information and support. Whether you need help managing household finances, understanding benefit entitlements, finding employment support or discovering what services are available locally, specialists will be available to answer questions and provide guidance.
Councillor Richard Cox, Cabinet Member for Community and Public Protection, said: "We want every resident to know what support is available to them, whether they have a specific issue they'd like advice on or simply want to find out more about the services on offer. Bringing so many organisations together in one place makes it easier for people to access trusted information, ask questions and get the right support when they need it."
